About

The Shadowblight Soulrift Necromancer build is a high-damage, tanky setup that revolves around triggering Shadowblight as often as possible using Blight, Corpse Explosion, and Soul Rift. It’s excellent for boss killing, Pit pushing, and speed farming in Diablo 4 Season 11.

This build that combines relentless damage-over-time effects with corpse-based detonations to overwhelm enemies. By stacking shadow damage instances and leveraging powerful aspects like Blighted and Decay, this build scales damage exponentially while maintaining strong defenses and mobility. It’s versatile, fast, and ideal for both speed farming and high-end dungeon pushing.

Gameplay

1. Setup Corpse Tendrils - Group enemies and apply Vulnerable.Maximizes AoE effectiveness and sets up Corpse Explosions.DecrepifyApply slow/debuff and activate Cooldown Reduction chances.Enemy control and faster skill recycling.

2. Initial Damage: Blight - Drop a pool of Shadow DoT damage.Quick initial stack of Shadowblight hits.

3. Trigger (Spam) Corpse Explosion (Shadow) to Consume Corpses repeatedly. Primary source of rapid, spammable Shadow damage to trigger the hit explosion, and activates Fueled by Death / Necrotic Carapace.

4. Filler/Sustain: Decompose - Weave this in when Essence is low.Generate Essence and continue applying Shadow damage.

5. Ultimate: Soulrift - Use for emergency crowd control or massive single-target burst.Heavy damage and high Shadowblight stack potential.

6. Important Note:  Keep in mind that both Reap is only on your bar for Reaper's Pursuit, so make sure you don't ever use that skill!

Additional information

Notable Gear:

  • Blood Moon Breeches – Provides crucial ranks to Hellbent Commander (which now works without minions in S11) and increases damage to cursed enemies.

  • Amulet - Focuses on Cooldown Reduction and ranks to Hellbent Commander passives.

  • Aspect of the Damned - Increases Shadow damage dealt to enemies afflicted by both Decrepify and Iron Maiden.

  • Blighted Aspect - Grants a massive global damage multiplier after Shadowblight deals damage 10 times.
