Chain Lightning Sorcerer Endgame Build Guide

Chain Lightning Sorcerer Endgame Build Guide

Last Updated: Jun 30, 2026 by Slaydra

About

This breakdown details Slaydra’s updated Chain Lightning Sorcerer build. It focuses on maximizing high attack speed breakpoints and mana regeneration mechanics to maintain infinite Chain Lightning casts, allowing it to clear Pit 100+ and comfortably farm Torment difficulties.

Gameplay Loop and Engine Mechanics

The build revolves around creating an automated storm of lightning projectiles that bounce across entire screens while keeping your defensive barriers constantly refreshed.

  • Mana-to-Damage Engine: Chain Lightning consumes a heavy amount of mana. The entire build functions around returning mana every time a beam bounces. By maintaining maximum mana pools, you scale your damage and stay top-heaped for continuous casting.

  • Automated Barrier Cycling: Every active skill cast triggers a passive barrier. Spun rapidly at high attack speeds, you layer these shields continuously, bypassing the natural fragility of the Sorcerer class.

  • Vulnerability Spreading: Through standard lighting configurations, enemies are automatically afflicted with Vulnerability on the initial hit, triggering global damage multipliers across the board.
