Payback Spiritborn Endgame Build Guide

Payback Spiritborn Endgame Build Guide

About

The Payback Spiritborn build featured in the video is an elite "Glass Cannon" setup designed for Pit pushing. It sacrifices traditional survivability for extreme damage output, relying on specific mechanics to stay alive while dealing billions of damage.

This build centers on the Payback core skill. While Payback is often seen as a defensive "counter-attack" skill, this build turns it into a primary offensive engine. By utilizing the Gorilla and Jaguar Spirit Hall bonuses, the build scales damage through Resolve stacks and Ferocity. It is labeled "Glass Cannon" because it intentionally avoids certain defensive staples to maximize every possible damage multiplier, making it a high-skill, high-reward playstyle.

Gameplay Rotation

The playstyle requires aggressive movement and precise timing to maintain "Unstoppable" status and maximum stacks.

  • Stack Generation: Maintain Ferocity and Resolve stacks at all times. Use Armored Hide to instantly refresh your Resolve stacks, which provides a massive damage boost due to the build's scaling mechanics.

  • The Damage Core: Spam Payback. Unlike earlier seasons where you might wait to be hit, the gear used in this build allows you to cast Payback proactively. It hits in a massive area around the player and benefits from "Shotgun" mechanics where overlapping hits melt bosses.

  • Buff Maintenance: Cycle Ravager to keep your attack speed and damage multipliers peaked. The build uses high cooldown reduction to ensure these buffs have nearly 100% uptime.

  • Defensive Layering: Since the build is "Glass Cannon," you rely heavily on Dodge chance and the Unstoppable status from your skills to avoid getting CC'd or one-shot.
